Competitions

Articles have been written about each of the following District competitions and, where appropriate, include a table of winners. Some such tables may contain gaps as we have not yet been able to ascertain all the winners of every competition. They will be updated whenever possible to include everything we know.

If applicable, the name of the trophy that was awarded is also give, However, we have discovered that on a few occasions trophies have been used for more than one competition, especially when the original one in no longer taking place.
Some of the competitions listed took place over several years while there are some that were held intermittently and a few for only one or two years.

In addition to the District competitions it is known that some Groups entered other events that were organised at a County level. These are not included here, but where a Group featured in such a competition mention is, where possible, included in the article about that Group.

Most articles include a gallery containing any relevant press cuttings and photographs of the event.

If you are able to help by providing additional information please let us know.

The list will be added to as and when we can.
