Scout Network (18-25 years old)

Autumn 2024 update  – We’re now looking for members to join Scout Network in Barnet. Interested? Email us here!

Scout Network is our sixth and final section for 18 to 25 year olds. Whether you’re completely new to Scouts or you’ve been with us since you were 4 years old, joining Network is a great way to meet new people, seek out new challenges and see the world. Because being a grown up shouldn’t mean you have to miss out on all the fun.

Network members decide what activities they do, how often they meet and where they want to go. Young adults can also use it to become specialists in activities, take part in expeditions and major community projects and will enjoy great support with schemes like the Queen’s Scout and Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

Uniform

Scout Network Members wear an adult leader uniform, consisting of a stone shirt or blouse and a Group scarf, along with a Scout Network badge. This is available to buy in most uniform shops and online at the Scout Store.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
