Activities

Air Rifle Shooting – Indoors

We can run shooting indoors if you book the Cyril Allen Hut at the same time. This is fantastic as the building is heated when it’s cold but also we have 6 shooting positions not 4, so larger groups get a bit more time shooting.

  • Suitable for Cubs and older
  • Sessions are 1 hour
  • 12 – 18 participants recommended on a session

Air Rifle Shooting – Outdoors

Aside from the very popular shooting club for Scouts and Explorers this is an activity you can book by the hour too. It’s available outside using the range but please note that archery and shooting use the same range at the moment so we can’t run both at the same time!

  • Suitable for Cubs and older
  • Sessions are 1 hour
  • 12 – 16 participants recommended on a session

Frith Grange is a Target Sprint UK national hub for Target Sprint.

Archery

Recently we have invested over £1,800 on new equipment and training a team of instructors. Please note that archery and shooting use the same range at the moment so we can’t run both at the same time!

  • Suitable for all ages and abilities
  • Sessions are 1 hour
  • 12 – 16 participants recommended on a session

Indoor rotating climbing wall

The climbing wall is suitable for all ages and is self led so you don’t need an instructor with you. The wall is controlled by a computer with sensors that stop the wall from rotating if the people climbing get in a dangerous spot.

  • Suitable for all ages and abilities
  • Sessions are 1 hour
  • 10 – 20 participants recommended on a session
