Vernon Hall

Vernon Hall

The District owns Vernon Hall, a building in Vernon Crescent, East Barnet, Hertfordshire EN4 8QG.

You can get there on bus number 307 (towards Barnet Hospital) from Oakwood Underground Station (on the Piccadilly Line) or it’s easy to reach by road from the M25.

The building has off-street parking for 8 cars and has wheelchair access. The main hall is about 12 metres by 8 metres (roughly 39 x 26 feet) and comfortably seats up to a hundred people (in a ‘cinema’ layout.)

The premises are ideal for a Nursery School, Dance classes, Martial Arts, Yoga & Pilates classes, Educational classes and social groups. You can see an album of photos by clicking here.

There’s an outside space with marked fire circles. Although there is no wood pile you are entering the woods if you take 20 steps!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
