All Peaks Challenge – Participate, Sponsor or Donate
First, my apologies for presuming that you might be interested in this non-Scouting event but thought the worthy causes might excuse the intrusion.
I have been approached by a family with a long time association with Finchley & Barnet Scouting whose firm have helped Scout Groups with building and insurance issues over many years, with a request to consider promoting a major fund raising event that they are sponsoring.
The All Peaks Challenge on Saturday 13th June is when a handpicked team of adventurers will take on a world first feat: summiting all 120 mountain peaks across the UK and Ireland, simultaneously, in just one day. The aim is to raise £1,000,000 for Just Rifles – who aim to plug the gaps in one-off, everyday needs as well as long term support so former soldiers that have experienced mental or physical trauma – and another incredible cause, Spread a Smile – a charity that brings joy and laughter to seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families during long and often difficult hospital stays.
Far fetched and an incredible challenge but you could join in two powerful ways:
- Climb: Take part in this once-in-a-lifetime challenge, lead a team and represent a peak of your own
- Sponsor: Partner with us to power the mission and leave a lasting legacy or more practically – you can donate
