District AGM 2026

Notice is hereby given and you are cordially invited to attend the 17th Annual General Meeting of the Barnet Borough District Scout Council (Charity No. 1125880)
Uniform & medals may be worn. Light refreshments will be served after the meeting
Please confirm your attendance/submit your apologies to chair@barnetscouts.com no later than Wednesday 26th August 2026
Please ensure that every leader in your Section/Group/Unit sees this invitation
The updated format of running the AGM and appointing Trustees no longer calls for Nominations and Seconding of candidates but instead the meeting will be asked to approve those appointed to be the Trustees (including the Chair & Treasurer)
Groups & Explorer Units are reminded that:
- Explorer Scouts (including Young Leaders) and where appropriate, Group Trustee Board Chairs & Treasurers are members of the District Scout Council and may vote and attend the AGM
- Parents of Explorer Scouts (including Young Leaders) are members of the District Scout Council and may vote and attend the AGM
