Membership fee for 2026 – 27

The UK Scouts membership fee is increasing by £1 to £44 per young person for 2026 – 27, based on numbers to be submitted in the January 2026 Census.
The fee has been increased as one of several measures to help us to tackle challenging cost pressures. There will still be a 50p prompt payment discount if we receive payment by 23rd April 2026, making the amount paid per youth member £43.50.
Counties and Districts are reviewing their own financial situations, which means that the fee that you pay per young person may differ based on your local area.
