Cubs’ Night Hike

Date: 12th Feb 2024 Author: Andrew Rush

The full details for the Night Hike are now on the Event page.

In addition I would also like people to help with the following:

  • People who can run a base out on the course (we will make up base teams, nobody will be alone.)  This can be a base that we will provide or if you have one that you would like to run, even better
  • A couple of people to prepare hot drinks and food
  • A couple of people to do check out and check in of teams and deal with paperwork
  • Someone to build a campfire
  • Someone to lead the campfire

If your Group can provide any of the people above (bearing in mind that you also need to have your adult for your teams) then please let me know because I need to get all these roles filled.

Also if you know of anyone (leaders, explorers, etc) that may be able to get involved then please feel free to pass this on or give me their details so I can approach them.

It would be great to see all of our Packs attending so if you have not been to the hike before and would like more info then please feel free to call or email me with any questions.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
