Time to say Thank You

Date: 10th May 2021 Author: Andrew Rush

After a hard 18 months, we’ve all got someone to say ‘thank you’ to.

We’re joining the national Thank You Day on Sunday 4th July alongside some amazing organisations including the NHS, and Royal Voluntary Service.

Whether it’s our amazing Scout volunteers, our neighbours for checking we were okay, the delivery drivers who kept food on the shelves, or the young people for learning from home – we want to get together to say thanks to them all. Emma, an Explorer Scout from the north west, was one of the proposers of this brilliant idea.

Chief Scout, Bear Grylls is supporting the day, along with ambassadors Tim Peake, Steve Backshall, Ellie Simmonds, Ed Stafford and Dwayne Fields who are all encouraging Scouts to take part.
