Membership fees 2022

I have circulated the annual Membership fee letter which should be self-explanatory.  The Membership fee this year will be £45.50 per head (HQ £35.00; County £4.50; District £6.00).

The process for determining the total payable by each Group or Unit and the invoicing and collection is similar to previous years, but if you do have any questions, then please advise.  I will issue an invoice to each Group or Unit for the Membership fee, plus a small charge to recover the annual Music Licence Fee which has been paid at District level on behalf of all Groups and Units.  Please note that the share of the annual Music Licence Fee is will be higher than previous years as the licence fee has increased and there are fewer Groups than previous years.

Please may I also remind that each Group should  provide the District Treasurer with a set of its Accounts each year.   Therefore, if you have not already done so, please will you send a copy of your Group’s latest set of Accounts either by post, or by attachment to e-mail, to my home address (as set out on the attached letter).   Please continue to diarise so as to send Accounts to myself each year, once these have been approved at your Group AGM.

Please also note that that the addressees on this e-mail are based on the current information available on Compass, but if I have omitted anyone who should receive it, then please pass this on (and let me know for future).
