St. George’s Day & Promise Renewal 2021

Date: 25th April 2021 Location: Zoom Sections: District

Sunday 25th April – 2pm on Zoom

Although we can’t have the usual parade and ceremony, we will be renewing the Promise and celebrating all our award winners with a virtual District event.

We now have a growing list of Chief Scout Award recipients who we wish to recognise, as well as some outstanding Jack Petchey awards and similar. On top of that, some of our members have a short performance to mark St. George’s Day, and we would like everyone to renew their Promises together.

Further details will be sent out nearer the time, but please save the date of the 25th April; it would be great to have your support even if it is through Zoom.

Ahead of that, when it is possible we would like you (leaders) to take a picture of one young person from each of your sections, in uniform and holding the section flag. There’s no particular pose that is required, as long as we can see the young person and the flag!

Please could you email them over by Wednesday 21st April 2021.

It might be a bit different this year, but we can’t wait to see you all
