Earth Day 2027

Earthday.org’s mission is to broaden, educate and activate the environmental movement worldwide. Growing out of the first Earth Day in 1970, Earthday.org is the world’s largest recruiter to the environmental movement, working with more than 150,000 partners in over 192 countries to drive positive action for our planet.

Roots to Nature

A recent study found that human connection to nature has declined 60% in 200 years. One of the most effective ways to reverse this is by helping young people and families build awareness and engagement with the natural world, according to the study. Check out our District Challenge to strengthen our own relationship with nature, as well as support wider plans to encourage more young people and adults into Scouting in Barnet Borough.
