Beavers’ Adventure Day

The Beaver Adventure Day will be full of adventurous activities!  It is hoped that every Beaver attending will earn the ‘Adventure Challenge’ badge.

Every Colony attending will be asked to run an activity/base. Any expenses incurred will be paid out to you on the day.

There is archery & climbing at Frith that I can book, and I can organise for a Cave Bus to come for the day.

Some ideas that I have taken from the Badges & Awards book are:

• Parachute games
• Following a trail through the woods
• Nature walk around the grounds looking for mini beasts
• Identifying leaves
• Climbing trees
• Building a den
• An obstacle course
• Water activity
• Toasting marshmallows
• Treasure hunt
• Tracking & orienteering in the woods
• A blindfold track around the woods
• The Country and Green Cross Codes

I am always happy to listen to any ideas that you might have.

Beavers and Leaders will be asked to bring a packed lunch. Drinks will be available throughout the day.

Due to the large numbers of Beavers attending, car parking at Frith Grange will be for Leaders only.

Please let me know ASAP if you are interested in coming and which activity you would like to run.
