26th World Scout Jamboree

Between: 27th July 2027 - 6th August 2027 Location: Sobieszewo Island, Gdańsk, Poland Sections: Scouts, Explorer Scouts

The World Scout Jamboree is a major international event organised by the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). Held every four years, it brings together tens of thousands of Scouts, aged 14 to 17, from around the globe to promote cultural exchange, friendship, and adventure. The Jamboree provides a unique opportunity for young people to learn from one another, develop leadership skills, and engage in outdoor activities while embracing the Scouting principles of community service, personal growth, and environmental stewardship.

The Jamboree’s programme is packed with a variety of educational, recreational, and community service activities, including workshops, team-building exercises, and outdoor pursuits. These experiences help Scouts to build a strong sense of global citizenship and to foster a deeper understanding of different cultures, ultimately contributing to a more peaceful and connected world.

In 2027 Poland will host the Jamboree for the first time in its history, welcoming more than 50,000 Scouts to Gdańsk.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
