Scouts

10½–14 yrs

We are pleased to announce that we now have our own community Scout group that is starting up for the youth in the IANL community.

Although Scouting was first started in the UK, it has become big in the Muslim world during the years that followed. Nearly every Muslim country has a Scouting movement and Muslim countries contribute some of the largest numbers to the overall international Scouting community.

We are starting with a Scout section aimed at boys aged 10½ – 14 and will inshaAllah follow with a section for girls shortly. The boys and girls sections will be run separately but we aim to provide the same opportunities to both wherever possible.

Would you like to help?

We can only make this project a success inshaAllah with adult volunteers. If you are over the aged of 18 and would like to help to run a boys or girls section, then please contact scouts@ianl.org.uk

Do you have children that are interested?

If you have young people you would like to register for joining Scouts, please email scouts@ianl.org.uk with your contact details and the details of the children you would like to register.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
